Thursday was my Grandmother's birthday. Happy Birthday!
Gdot is my mom's mom and is an amazing knitter. I get a quarter of my knitting genes from her. So for her birthday, I made her this toque which I will be dropping in the mail today. I hope she likes it.
I used this pattern and Ornaghifilati Land yarn (50% new wool, 40% acrylic, yes, acrylic, and 10% alpaca) that I picked up at Romni. This hat was a lot of fun to make and the pattern was very straightforward. Thanks, Jae!
Today it's beautiful in Toronto - an unseasonably balmy 11 degrees Celcius! It only compliments my stellar mood. I got a job working as a research assistant at UofT. Yay!
Oh, one more thing. Olivia passed me this link. I thought you would all appreciate it.
ALLIE! YOU GOT THE JOB!!!
i am so excited for you, and im so happy!
in fact, im just going to call you!~

I'm so envious of the jeans every day. SO ENVIOUS!
The hat looks great! I haven't tried a cabled item in ages but I'm refusing to knit until after the lsats. Poop.
